Sue and Boomerang
Sue our workshop Scouser, was referred to Boomerang through the NHS Community Connect Initiative, starting out in our Woodwork for Wellbeing course last year. She has been volunteering on Wednesday mornings for nearly a year now, helping out with repairs, making things, and now chisel sharpening!
She is enjoying the easygoing environment at the workshop and the folk she’s met here. In her time at the workshop, her favourite project has been her coffee table made from reclaimed pallet wood, pictured here. Great work Sue!
Outside of Boomerang, Sue is taking a course on genealogy, and enjoys making her own Babka.
