Oak Lantern Lamp with Diffused Light
A sculptural lamp with a Japanese-inspired aesthetic. This lantern-style piece is crafted from reclaimed oak with reeded plastic sheeting that diffuses the light beautifully, creating a soft, ambient glow. The abstract design is both functional and a statement piece. This lamp was designed and made by Alistair, one of our directors. Alistair came to Boomerang in 2013 and started learning the craft of woodwork from scratch. Completely self-taught, he learned by watching others and experimenting in the workshop. He's been with us ever since, developing his own distinctive style - sculptural, creative, and always pushing what can be done with reclaimed wood.
