Reclaimed Oak Coasters - Set of 4

£20.00

Handmade Wooden Coasters

The best kind of leftover. These coasters are made from the off-cuts of Max's French breadboards - solid oak from reclaimed floorboards that would otherwise go to waste. We laminate the pieces together and shape them into sturdy, practical coasters that show off the natural grain and character of the wood. Simple, functional, and honestly made. Each set of four is a little reminder that good craftsmanship means using every bit of material thoughtfully. These coasters were made by our volunteers at Boomerang Woodworking in Maryhill, Glasgow.

Materials: Reclaimed oak (floorboard off-cuts)

Dimensions: 11cm W x 11cm D x 11cm H (per coaster)

Finish: Food-safe mineral oil

Care: Wipe down with water after use. Re-oil with food-safe mineral oil if they start to look dry.

About Boomerang: Every piece from our workshop is made by volunteers and community members at Boomerang Woodworking, a not-for-profit community workshop in Maryhill, Glasgow. We use reclaimed and donated timber to create quality woodwork while supporting mental wellbeing, building skills, and bringing people together. When you buy from us, you're supporting our community and helping keep our workshop open for those who need it most.
