A one-of-a-kind piece with an organic, sculptural form. Carved from reclaimed sycamore, this lamp has a fluid, natural shape that showcases Alistair's creative approach to working with wood. The pale tones and smooth grain of the sycamore are set off by a metal base, grounding the sculptural form. This lamp was designed and made by Alistair, one of our directors. Alistair came to Boomerang in 2013 and started learning the craft of woodwork from scratch. Completely self-taught, he learned by watching others and experimenting in the workshop. He's been with us ever since, developing his own distinctive style - sculptural, creative, and always pushing what can be done with reclaimed wood.
